San Bartolome is 200 years old shepherd's house in a small village called Betis name, at the foot of the San Bartolome mountain;It is situated within the municipality of Tarifa. The location is superb, being close to fields, mountains and dessert beaches. The villa is inside a Natural Park, the environment is at one with nature,but can be reached easily by road.Within 5 minutes drive is the Bolonia beach where there are extensive ruins of a Roman city, and the the Punta Paloma beach with its enormous sand dunes. The house, in a 5000sq. metre plot has water, electricity and telephone services. The garden, which is surrounded by a 2m. high, natural stone wall, is on three levels and affords a magnificent view to the valley, the sea and on clear days, the African coast. Tarifa is the leading wind- and kitesurf centre of Europe and also offers numerous other sport possibilities such as horse riding, golf (30 minutes), scuba diving, rock climbing, hang gliding, tennis, snorkeling, fishing, tennis and paddle tennis
The main house has two livingrooms and one diningroom, all fully equipped:Television, video,parabolic and stereo. There is a fireplace in each livingroom. The rooms are light due to the large windows. The house sleeps 8 in four double bedrooms; all floors are paved with terracotta tiles, with the exception of the main bedroom, which has a wooden floor and all ceilings have wooden beams. Each room has a view to the outside through wood-framed, double glazed windows.
