	Ruilobuca farmhouse is surrounded by hills and woods, tranquillity and peaceful countryside, but also offers the most extensive stretches of beach and sand in its costal area of Oyambre. San Vicente de la Barquera and Santillana del Mar are only twenty minutes by car from the house and Comillas just five minutes by car.
Ruilobuca farm house has been tastefully restored in the old Cantabrian Mountain style but fully modernised and featuring old oak beams and stone walls. The house has been divided in two units. South and North with communicating doors on the ground floor and first floor, offering accommodation for up 12 persons. Second floor has an open plan bedroom. The advantage of this, is that, the house offers accommodation for a large family; for a family with parents or friends who wish to be together but at the same time, they want to feel independent and have a peaceful moment on their own.!! Each house consist of : 2 double bedrooms with 3 single beds in each room both en-suite. Sleeps 6. 1st floor en-suite bathroom fully equipped. 2nd floor en-suite shower room, basin and wc. Utility rooms with wc., wash basin and washing machine on the ground floor. A large kitchen with open plan/dinning room/living room, fully dequipped . For a family renting the whole house,the South kitchen becomes the main kitchen/dinning room and the North unit becomes de large living room. Front covered porch, South House, and patio area with field and garden are furnished with garden furniture and portable barbecue. Our own parking place and our own surrounding fields and garden area. Transport to Cantabria from England : Dayly direct flights from Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick to Bilbao. Excellent motorway connection from Bilbao to our house (about 1 h 30 mns.) Brittany Ferries from Plymouth to Santander, twice a week departures. P & O Ferries from Portsmouth to Bilbao. twice a week departures. The house offers you tranquillity and beautiful scenering; activities for all the family; excellent opportiunities to be in contact with nature and the Northen rich culture. Guggenheim futuristic Museum is justa about 1 hour from the house; Gaudi's architecture is near by and beautiful towns and villages are just down the road.. ! Asturias is just 20 mns. from the house and it is a must to be seen. Cantabria's "gastronomia" is excelent and for every poket. Menues from 7 Euros are available.
golf(Ballesteros'new design course is a must !) horse riding, canoeing, surf boardin, windsurfing, fishing and most popular, cycling and walking. For serious walkers there are DESFILADERO DE LA HERMINA and CARES GORGE. Full size table tennis and two bycicles are available in the house.
