Across the river lies the medieval town of St Jean d’Angély, with its bustling market, shops, bars & restaurants. Over the past ten years we have converted our two courtyards of XVIIth C stone barns, with their splendid oak beams, into 16 delightfully individual cottages, each containing all the essentials for a really relaxing holiday:
Lounge area with a three-piece suite, coffee table & satellite TV point. Fitted kitchen with oven & hob, ceramic sink/drainer, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, dishwasher and washing machine.
Dining area with farmhouse furniture. Staircase to: a double en-suite with a shower and WC, with provision for a small single in a separate alcove. 2nd staircase to a twinn bedroom, en-suite with bath/shower room and WC. In the mews with its own patio, separated by cartwheels with parasol, table & chairs. B-B-Q. Linen & towels incl. swimming towels are provided - beds made up. Cots and high-chairs available.
