The Chateau du Bijou is half-way between Lyon and Marseilles. It is a peaceful haven set on the western edge of the Rhone Valley, nestling under the Ardeche mountains. It is quiet and tranquil, very beautiful and only 10 minutes from the main A7 Autoroute and the Drome valley on the eastern side of the Rhone. Thus visitors can get to a wide range of places in not much over the hour (Lyon, Avignon, Grenoble for instance) if they don\\\'t want to ust relax! For the more active there is canoeing on both the Drome and Ardeche rivers as well as caving, climbing, cycling, vineyard visiting, wining and dining!
Ardeche and Drome sides of the Rhone. Valence, Montelimar, Crest, Avignon, Lyon (gastronomic centre of France!) - all very very easy to get to - Paris is only 2 hours by train from Valence which is 30 minutes drive.
