BB82001 -- Salvan de Tissac (40 EUR Price for a double room (indicative)) -- 82. Tarn et Garonne

Salvan de Tissac stands in its own grounds of about 1.5 acres in open countryside. This very greeen area with woodland on both sides of the house overlooks the tiny village of Cazes-Mondénard. The location is quiet apart from the occasional farming activities, which are never very obtrusive. Situated within easy reach of the principal towns of Cahors, Montauban, Moissac and Toulouse, this B&B is ideal for those looking for a short break in rural south west France or for those passing through and heading further south. Sleeps 6 (max) in two rooms with bathroom (bath, shower, bidet and wash basin) 2 separate WC's.
Originally built in about 1880, the stone cottage has been 'crépied' - a French technique similar to rendering (but nicer!). Located on the borders of the Tarn-et-Garonne and the Lot, Salvan de Tissac is in one of the most beautiful parts of south west France. Lauzerte and Montcuq are nearby as well as the Forêt de Gressigne - a massive forest which is easy to get lost in! (Many do!) Wildlife is abundant in the local area. All bedrooms (and the bathroom) are heated and there are tiled floors throughout the house. Meals can be served outside (in season) and there are lovely views from the house and garden. Evening meals can be provided upon request with some advance notice.
