| Our main aim is to provide a stress free vacation, where the woodlands, wild life and time take on their true position in life. Hopefully you return to your home with a refreshed outlook.
We have a very relaxed welcoming home for all our enjoyment, if you want anything just ask, we will do our best. All of our guests have enjoyed our hospitality and we have enjoyed their company.
The house has a swimming pool 12*6m, heated jacuzzi, gardens, dogs, horse and many games and resting places!!
There are two double bedrooms in the main house both with views of the Pyrenees, each room has an ensuite room with large shower, toilet and vanity unit complete with shaving point. If required one room can be made into a twin or have an extra single bed.
A family room has a double bed and three singles, heated by electric panel radiators, with private facilities of two showers, two toilets and two sinks below, accessed via external stairs.
Breakfast is provided for all Chambres guests.
Towels are provided for the room and separately for the swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi.
The House has a dining room and television, satellite, DVD, CD room.
Evening meals (Table d'hote) are available on request (normally 15E) as we are in Gascony we primarily use locally produced products to provide local and international meals which consist of ( but not limited to) Aperitifs, starter, main, desert / cheese, coffee and wines. Normally starting at 8 p.m. no comment on the finish!!!!!!!
The premises lies in a very tranquil rural location, with an ancient wooded hill running down the valley immediately to the west and an easy view of the Pyrenees with the Pic de Midi to the South, this geography gives a natural sun trap from early morning until dusk. Excellent walking and bike rides can be taken from the house with an abundance of wild life to be seen in the woods, fields and nearby river, possibly the best in France. The effect of the Pyrenees, in full view to the south, is to give a cool night to aid sleeping. Often necessary after house and property hunting! or any other activity.
On site there are a number of facilities available for use including a 12m x 6m swimming pool (salt) and heated out door Jacuzzi, various indoor ( Darts, board games, etc.) and outdoor games ( Badminton, swing ball etc), adult bicycles are available for use.
Nearby are ample restaurants providing Gasconne food, shopping and points of interest to suit most needs as is Marciac, famous for the two week summer jazz festival, Mirande for country and western and many other local fetes throughout the year.
Close by car is Tarbes, Pau, Lourdes and the Pyrenees for skiing, walking and biking, a little further is Spain (1hr) Atlantic (2hr) and Mediterranean (2hr)
