	Bed and breakfast and evening meal in Village house in beautiful mountain scenery Ganes is situated 350 mtr. above sea level in the midst of Catar country, with its past rich in history and mysteries. The village is surrounded by vine groves and forest, making it ideal for those wishing to get away from it all. Walkers and pony treckers can often be seen resting by the natural spring in the village square, where the water is a delight to drink. There are shops, bars and restaurants at Quillan, some 8 kms away and within a wider area there are castles, mountains, rivers and beautiful historic towns and villages to easily visit in a day. Carcassonne is a world heritage and is only 40 kms. away. Perpignan and the seaside are within 1 hours drive. Mirepoix with its medieval marketplace is a must to visit.
WONDERFUL FOOD Fruit and vegetables grow in abundance around the village and the best use of this wonderful asset is made in our evening meals which are served in the coutyard in the summer evenings and in the dining room, in front of the log fire at other times. COMFORTABLE BEDROOMS We currently offer two comfortable en-suite double rooms. Peaceful garden and cosy log fires on cool evenings.
